Huge injury blow for Leicester
Leicester have suffered a huge injury blow, with both Jamie Vardy and Nampalys Mendy forced off during their clash with West Ham.
The Foxes are having another sensational season.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were tipped to be top-six contenders after their impressive end to last season, but have surpassed that expectation so far in the current campaign.
Leicester have actually been pushing Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for second place in the Premier League, with Liverpool head and shoulders above everyone in top spot.
However, their run to the end of the season may now be blighted with injury.
Could Vardy’s injury affect England?
During their clash with West Ham, Leicester suffered two big injuries.
First up, Jamie Vardy was forced off the pitch with what looked to be a hamstring injury.
The Englishman is the top Premier League goalscorer with an incredible 17 goals in 22 games.
Despite Vardy having retired from international duty, this could also come as a blow for Gareth Southgate.
However, his injury could now put that hypothesis in doubt.

Mendy also set for spell on the sidelines
Vardy wasn’t the only Leicester player to suffer an injury against West Ham, though.
Nampalys Mendy was also forced to come off with a problem.
Mendy had been drafted in while Wilfred Ndidi recovered from injury, but it was actually the Nigerian who replaced Mendy.
Now, despite possibly having not fully recovered, Ndidi may have to feature regularly again.
Leicester maybe one goal to the good… But Brendan Rodgers has been forced into two changes already.
Mendy and Vardy (hamstring) off.
