Riyad Mahrez could well be in line for a shock appearance for Leicester City this weekend, his first since going AWOL and trying to leave the club.
The winger wanted out of the club this winter, and in a similar move to last summer, tried to force the club to sell him, with little luck.
Now, he’s back training with the side, and ironically, could face Manchester City this weekend – who are of course the very side who tried to buy him and unsettled him in the first place.

The key thing for Mahrez is to get his focus back according to his manager, and it seems that the club know how good he is, and six months spent on the sidelines to punish him isn’t in the plans for Leicester.
It may well be the case that Mahrez pushes to leave again this summer, and the club will have to think about selling him, even if the audacious money they claim to want isn’t on the table – but for now, all parties involved seem to be focused on getting the player back ready for the run in of games.
BBC Sport report Puel said: “I think it is important to look forward.
“Riyad is a magnificent player and he loves football. He loves his relationship with his friends and team-mates,
“I think it is important in this difficult time to keep all players, and club, united, to continue the hard work on the pitch. The best way is to come back and enjoy his football.
“I hope Riyad can get his head right and comes back with us.”
