Leeds prepare for new season with 2-0 win over Oxford (videos)

Leeds continued their preparations for the new Championship season with a 2-0 win over Oxford United at Elland Road on Saturday.

This was Leeds’ final game before the Championship kicks off next weekend. They play Bolton on Sunday.

Pre-season has seen Leeds beat Guiseley, North Ferriby and now Oxford. They have also drawn with Borussia Monchengladbach and lost to Eibar.

Roofe & Dallas score for Leeds

The 2-0 win over Oxford was Thomas Christansen’s first time at Elland Road since being appointed Leeds manager.

It also marked the first time Leeds have played at Elland Road since securing completely the rights to the ground, under their new owners.

Kemar Roofe bagged the opening goal with a near post finish.

Stuart Dallas scored Leeds’ second goal, which was a fine curling strike into the far corner.
