Leeds vs Wolves

Leeds are set to return to Premier League action in a week’s time.

The Whites will welcome Wolves to Elland Road for a Monday evening clash.

Leeds head into the tie in pretty decent form, having picked up two wins and a draw from their opening four league outings of the season.

The aforementioned stalemate came against Manchester City, whilst the club’s only defeat of the campaign so far saw came in a hard-fought 4-3 result at Anfield.

As such, despite Wolves once again looking a solid outfit this term, Marcelo Bielsa’s men probably fancy their chances of picking up a positive result on Monday.

The Peacocks, however, look likely to be forced to do so without two senior centre-backs.

Liam Cooper missed Scotland’s win over Slovakia on Sunday.

And Scotland boss Steve Clarke has since confirmed that the defender has picked up an injury:

“Unfortunately Liam Cooper has picked up an injury and he will be out the next two games.”

Leeds also look set to be without new boy Diego Llorente versus Wolves, after Spain confirmed on Sunday that the stopper had suffered a muscle problem, and will therefore not travel to Ukraine with the rest of the national team:
