Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has, on Thursday, provided a fitness update on his squad.
And the news will no doubt be met with a collective smile on the part of all associated with the club.
Leeds’ Premier League opener, last weekend, of course saw a host of the club’s star performers forced to sit out owing to respective injury problems.
Nevertheless, the Whites ultimately went on to emerge triumphant, to the tune of a 2-1 downing of Wolves.
And the hopes of Jesse Marsch and co. of securing a similarly positive result this weekend have, on Thursday, been afforded a timely boost.
This comes with a trio of players set for a return to the matchday fold.
As confirmed by Leeds’ boss a short time ago, all of Adam Forshaw, Liam Cooper and summer arrival Luis Sinisterra have returned to full training.
All three, in turn, are set to be available for selection when the Yorkshire outfit make the trip to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Fellow absentees Junior Firpo and Luke Ayling, on the other hand, remain ‘a couple of weeks’ away from respective returns to the pitch.
