The Argentine saw red against Akhmat Grozny meaning he will miss the Russian club’s next game against CSKA Moscow.

Leandro Paredes Copa Libertadores final accusations
Russian supporters have accused the player of attempting to see red on purpose so as to travel back to Argentina for the game.
These claims have not been backed up, neither are the footballing authorities planning to deal with the matter.
The 25-year-old recklessly lunged into a tackle in the 83rd minute to receive a second yellow card of the game.
Boca host River Plate on Saturday at 20:00 (GMT).

I guess @fczenit_en will punish Paredes if he flies away to watch match & giving a miss to work and footballers work out daily. As for red card it was not on purpose, just forgetfulness on his first yellow card. Still he failed the team, could play more cautiously

82′ Leandro Paredes picks up his second yellow and is sent off for the second time this season for a late and reckless challenge. #ZenitAkhmat
