Latest on the situation after Arsenal starlet hints highly-regarded Kido Taylor-Hart has signed new deal

 

An update on the future of Arsenal youngster Kido Taylor-Hart has been forthcoming online on Friday evening.

Who is Taylor-Hart?

Gunners starlet Taylor-Hart represents one of the most highly regarded up and coming talents on the books in north London.

The youngster, a left-winger by trade, has been plying his trade with Arsenal since the age of 7, and is actually a lifelong fan of the capital giants.

Taylor-Hart has long been lauded for his attacking exploits, with the 18-year-old in possession of a number of impressive traits – including explosive acceleration and a keen eye for goal.

Such attributes have been on full show at youth level to this point in the campaign, with the teen having racked up 6 goals and 4 assists across nine outings for Arsenal’s U18s.

Despite his age, Taylor-Hart is also a regular contributor with Steve Bould’s U23s, for whom he has notched 3 goals in eleven appearances in 2020/21.

Conflicting claims

In turn, it didn’t come as too much of a surprise, last month, to hear that those in a position of power on the red half of north London had made their first move to tie Taylor-Hart down for the foreseeable future.

As reported by the reliable Chris Wheatley of football.london, amid mounting interest in his services from across Europe, Arsenal extended an official contract offer to their talented young wide-man.

This came with Taylor-Hart’s current terms due to expire in the summer.

It therefore came as a major boost to the Gunners faithful when, during an Instagram Live session this afternoon, George Lewis – another of the up and coming crop of talent at the Emirates – appeared to suggest that KTH had committed to the club.

‘Congrats on signing’, Lewis’ message read:

The subject of the attacker’s future, in turn, was swiftly put to the aforementioned Chris Wheatley on social media this evening.

The Arsenal ‘in the know’, however, poured cold water on the claims regarding Taylor-Hart’s new deal, assuring that the English youth international is ‘yet to sign a new deal’:
