Lacazette discusses why he and Aubameyang can play together at Arsenal
Partnership brewing
Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has explained why he and January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can play in the same side.
After a very rough start to life at the Emirates for Lacazette, Aubameyang’s arrival was seen to be a bad thing for the forward.
Many speculated that his time in London could already be over and he was set to fall down the pecking order.
Though, that hasn’t happened at all and Aubameyang has actually helped Lacazette find his feet again.
The Frenchman has now scored three goals in two games, one when his strike partner unselfishly let him take a penalty that would have given him his hat-trick.

Now, Lacazette has explained why the two will be able to blossom up front together.
“He is different player, he loves the space and I’m a player who loves to get the ball to my feet,” said the France striker.
“Auba is a nice guy. I think we can be good together.”Â
“After the first penalty against Stoke, he told me, ‘If there is another one I will give you the ball’ so it was nice from him.
“It was good for my confidence. It shows that, even if we are strikers, we can think about everyone in the team and we are not focused only to score goals.
“I think we can play together like Sunday but the coach will decide and we need to respect the decision, but I like how Pierre plays and I think we can be good together.”
Well done Aubameyang to give the penalty kick to lacazette so that he gets his confidence back. Love this sort of attitude and players

Not that the Premier League games are that important now, but feels like Wenger HAS to find a way of playing Aubameyang and Lacazette together. Laca is too good to have on the bench. #AFCvCSKA

Arsene Wenger confirms huge Arsenal injury blow
There is one player that won’t be joining Lacazette and Aubameyang in attack anytime soon, though.
That is because one Arsenal star has been injured this week and Arsene Wenger has confirmed the extent of it.
