Kylian Mbappe suffering from insomnia after Manchester United

Kylian Mbappe has insomnia after PSG’s loss to Man United

French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe spoke to Telefoot on Sunday.

It’s been a horrific week for Mbappe as PSG crashed out of the Champions League to Man United.

PSG started the second leg with a 2-0 lead. After a 3-1 loss at home, Man United adanced to the quarterfinals on the away goals rule.

Mbappe confirmed to Telefoot that he’s now suffering from insomnia:

We are stunned. There are no words.

I have not managed to sleep. I think it has been the same for everybody else.

We had worked hard to arrive at this moment. We are disappointed. We ruined the party.

Mbappe missed a superb chance to score for PSG in the final stages of the Man United match.

David De Gea foiled the striker when Mbappe was clean through on goal.

Mbappe on his PSG future

Mbappe has been a revelation since he joined PSG.

He’s scored 50 goals and chipped in with 29 assists since arriving in Paris.

Did the defeat to Man United trigger Mbappe to consider his ongoing future in the French capital?

The 20-year-old striker told Telefoot he’s staying with PSG for the time being:

I’ll be there (at the start of next season), it’s safe.

With what has just happened – and even before, it was already locked down.

There are many people who doubt, but I still believe in this project.
