Kyle Walker reveals how badly Man United fans hate Liverpool

Man United vs Man City

Wednesday night will be absolutely massive in the Premier League as Manchester United host Man City.

The Manchester derby is always a pivotal match in any season.

But this game in a potential title decider, with Man United positioned as the king maker.

If City beat United, the Sky Blues will likely beat Liverpool to the title.

If United beat City, Liverpool’s destiny will be in their own hands.

Kyle Walker & Liverpool

The Telegraph have spoken to Kyle Walker in the build up to the Manchester derby.

The City full-back has revealed what happens when he meets fans in public:

United fans are in a difficult situation obviously. When I’m out and about or walking my dogs, United fans are coming up to me saying, ‘We’d rather City win the league than Liverpool’.

It’s strange to hear but I can assure you the United players aren’t going to leave a red carpet and say, ‘Go on City, score past us’.

They’re going to make it difficult because it’s a game of football and they’re fighting for the top-four as well so they need the points.
