Heung-Min Son’s brilliant season
Tottenham have established themselves as one of England’s best clubs in recent years and have finished 3rd and 2nd in the last two season.
Due to Harry Kane’s brilliant form, many people forget just how good the Spurs team really is.
Spurs’ defence have been absolutely incredible in recent years. Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen have become one of the best centre back pairings in world football.
Dele Alli has gained some plaudits for his meteoric rise to the top whilst debatably Christian Eriksen and Mousa Dembele’s brilliance has gone unnoticed.
One player who has been consistently fantastic since signing for the club is Heung-Min Son.
The South Korean international signed for the club from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 and has played a vital part in Tottenham’s domestic ‘success’.
Son has scored 26 goals in the Premier League whilst picking up 14 assists in just 88 games in England’s top flight.
Thanks to Son, thousands of Koreans are seen at every single Tottenham match.
Son is a national hero in his home country and has 20 goals in 61 games for South Korea.
Astonishingly, South Korea now has a nightly show called ‘Super Son time’ which shows highlights of the Tottenham forward’s best games and goals.

It’s crazy to think that a footballer can be so popular within his home country.
Footballers have become idols and Son is the epitome of a national icon.
The show may not be so interesting tonight as Son was left out of Tottenham’s team to face Juventus in Turin.
Hopefully, for ‘Super Son time’s sake, the 25 year old will get some minutes on the pitch.
