Man United 2 – Swansea 0
Swansea lost 2-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday in the Premier League.
Man United took the lead through a fifth minute Romelu Lukaku goal.
Lukaku, who scored twice for Belgium in the international break, is in excellent EPL form right now.
The Belgian has 11 goals and four assists in his last 15 games. Moreover, Lukaku has now chalked up 100 Premier League career goals.
Swansea’s day was over after 20 minutes, as Alexis Sanchez scored his second Man United goal since joining from Arsenal.
Fears Sam Clucas has knee ligament damage
Ten minutes into the second half, Swansea were forced into a change.
Sam Clucas was forced out the match. He was replaced by Wayne Routledge.
Clucas pulled up with what appeared to be a knee injury, and he immediately was taken out the game.
The Swansea midfielder looked visibly upset at the time of his injury, and after the game Carlos Carvahal revealed bad news:
He twisted his knee. The internal and external ligament, but we don’t know more than that because he needs a scan.
We hope it’s not serious as we don’t have a big squad.
Clucas to be assessed: "Sam has twisted his knee and we think he has injured the ligament on the outside of his knee,” said Carvalhal. "We don’t know yet what the problem is. We will have to wait for a scan to see how bad it is, but I hope it is not a serious injury." #Swans pic.twitter.com/B0PU8YTR8l

Swansea fans will now be praying that Clucas’s injury isn’t as bad as most expect it to be.
The Swans are already without Leroy Fer and Renato Sanches due to injuries.
For the record, after the United defeat, Swansea are 15th in the table with 31 points from 31 games.
They are just three points above the drop zone, and so Swansea are still very much in trouble.
