A good tackle
It’s been a great week for Liverpool in terms of their results on the field.
A late win over Everton and a comeback against Burnley have seen them keep pace with league leaders Manchester City.

However, Klopp has been fined £8000 for his celebrations in the Merseyside derby, and has now offended Sean Dyche.
Klopp hit out at the tackle made by Ben Mee, that saw Joe Gomez pull up with a serious injury.
Now, with Gomez facing six weeks on the sidelines, Klopp made his feelings very clear.
Charlie Adam doesn’t see anything wrong with this tackle. For someone with a Sunday league physique this kind of leg breakers might be fine as he can’t make up ground, but not at the top level, Charlie. #LFC #joegomez pic.twitter.com/Hq6ZbGBuB0

Hope Gomez is ok, but Klopp’s comments are out of order. Absolutely nothing wrong with the tackle from Ben Mee. Get a grip man!

Dyche on Klopp’s comments: “I was a bit confused. There were some excellent tackles. The only one that was questionable was Bardo’s. Ben Mee’s was a fantastic tackle, and I think Gomez realised that. We send him our best if there is any injury but it wasn’t from a bad tackle.”

Liverpool do the same
Despite that, former Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has backed anger from Dyche over the comments.
He said the tackle is no different than one you’d expect to see any defender make.
Schwarzer also added he’s seen Liverpool’s own defenders make similar challenges.
Schwarzer told The Debate: “It’s a brilliant tackle from Mee, it’s what you want from your centre-half. It’s not a Burnley-specific tackle, it’s a defender’s tackle.
“Sean Dyche is rightly upset and annoyed by the comments. I think that is a tackle you want every centre-half to make.
“I’ve seen Liverpool play, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have made those challenges and it’s no different to what they’ve done.”
A huge blow
Either way, Gomez will now be out until the New Year.
It’s a huge blow for Liverpool, with fans never really convinced by Dejan Lovren or Joel Matip.
In a time when the games are coming thick and fast, everyone is needed on the field.
However, Gomez will have to take some time out, and Liverpool fans will be hoping Alisson Becker carries on with his match winning saves in the meantime.
