Tierney’s time at Celtic
Kieran Tierney is a product of Celtic’s youth system, who was promoted to their senior side in December of 2015.
The Scotsman has since gone on to feature 170 times for Celtic’s senior side, scoring eight and assisting 37 in that time.
Tierney has also helped guide his boyhood club to five league titles, three Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups.
The 22-year-old is naturally a left-back, but he can also play as a centre-back or further up on the left-hand side.
Arsenal bid for Tierney
Amid his impressive Celtic stint, which has seen Tierney gain Champions League experience, Premier League outfit Arsenal look to be very interested in signing him.
It has previously been reported that the Gunners had seen a £15m bid rejected for the full-back in June.

Reports then emerged that Unai Emery’s side had come back in with a £25m bid.

Now, BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein has provided an update on said bid.
According to Ornstein, Tierney is said to be keen on a move to Arsenal.
However, the bid is complicated by Arsenal’s insistence on breaking the fee up into instalments:
Arsenal’s latest bid was submitted to Celtic on Friday and Kieran Tierney is keen for the move to happen. It is complicated by the breakdown and nature of the instalments Arsenal are proposing – but there remains optimism that the transfer will be completed #AFC #CelticFC https://t.co/biLr8DOSdx
