The Rome derby
The huge match in Serie A on Sunday was the Rome derby between Roma and Lazio.
For Roma it was a chance to close the gap to Juventus in top spot. Although the Old Lady look to have wrapped up the Scudetto once again.
Lazio have shown off some fine attacking football this season. None more so than against Roma in the Coppa Italia semi-final.
The blue half of Rome were victorious over two legs but since then their form has tailed off a little.
In early December, Roma beat Lazio in the first game between the two sides this campaign. Thanks to goals from Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan.
On Saturday, Lazio took the lead through Balde Diao Keita after 12 minutes, but Roma levelled on the stroke of halftime through a Daniele De Rossi penalty.
Kevin Strootman is a cheat
Roma won the penalty after Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman took a horror dive in the Lazio box.
No contact was made on Strootman, but he acted as if his legs had been chopped out from underneath him.
It was embarrassing, but worse, it worked.
