Kevin De Bruyne ‘comfortable’ at Man City amid reported transfer talk from Spain

Kevin De Bruyne’s Man City stint

Kevin De Bruyne is one of, if not the best player currently plying their trade in the Premier League.

The Belgian returned to England in August of 2015 from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

De Bruyne has since gone on to rack up just over 200 appearances for Manchester City.

The former Chelsea man has scored 48 and assisted 84 in those ties for the Manchester powerhouse.

KDB has helped to guide City to a plethora of trophies, with Pep Guardiola’s side having also broken the record for the most points amassed in a single Premier League season. The Citizens garnered 100 points in the 2017/18 PL campaign.

Rather unsurprisingly, De Bruyne is in the midst of another sensational season.

Whilst City may be struggling to keep up with Liverpool, the midfield maestro has been as impressive as ever, netting seven and assisting 16 in 24 league ties in 2019/20.

KDB comfortable at Manchester City

De Bruyne is currently contracted to the Premier League champions until 2023.

Goal have reported that the City standout may be sparking talk of interest from Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, it doesn’t sound as though De Bruyne is thinking about leaving City anytime soon.

KDB recently stated that he feels both comfortable and happy at Man City:

“I feel comfortable because this is the club I have played for the longest apart from Genk, but that was because I was in the youths, so that was different.

“But I feel comfortable here because I’m happy here. I play at one of the best teams in the world, one of the best leagues in the world and my family is settled, my kids are happy. So it makes it more comfortable.

“If one of these things wasn’t in place it would give you stress, but I don’t have that stress at the moment. I feel relaxed and feel I can focus on what I need to do to be ready.” As quoted by Goal.
