Man United transfer updates
In the Mirror on Sunday, Man United fans are served up three transfer updates.
Man United are in Premier League action on Sunday as they take on Tottenham at Wembley.
If United can beat Spurs by three goals, they’ll move level on points and on goal difference with Arsenal.
At the same time, many are wondering if United will do any business this January.
Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly
The Mirror have an update on Man United’s attempts to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
It’s worth noting that some are certain that United have no chance of landing Koulibaly in the current transfer window.

Nevertheless that’s not stopped the Mirror printing the following:
Manchester United will offer Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly an escape route away from Italy’s racists.
United have made the 27-year-old Senegal international a prime summer target after failing to land him before the start of the season. And they believe Koulibaly will this time attempt to force his departure from the Serie A club after being targeted by bigots.
Will United sign Koulibaly in 2019?
Diego Simeone & Old Trafford
Another Man United rumour in the Mirror is that Diego Simeone is being considered for the Old Trafford dugout.
Also on Sunday, the Telegraph link Gareth Southgate with United.
Tottenham fans will be enjoying all these updates as it suggests that Mauricio Pochettino won’t be leaving Spurs for United.
But how likely is Simeone’s move? The Mirror claim:
Manchester United have sounded out Diego Simeone about becoming their new manager.
The Atletico Madrid boss is on a short-list of candidates drawn up by United chiefs as they search for Jose Mourinho’s long-term successor.
Would Simeone’s lack fo English hinder his chances of getting the Man United job?
Antonio Valencia to Inter Milan
In another piece of transfer news, the Mirror claim Antonio Valencia may leave Man United to join Inter Milan this summer.
Valencia is out of contract at the end of the season.
