Pogba’s inconsistent campaign
Paul Pogba had a very inconsistent 2018/19 season with Manchester United.
The Frenchman started the season as Man United’s captain and wore the armband in their opening two Premier League fixtures, both of which he scored in.
However, Pogba would then lose the armband and then score just once in his next 11 league outings.
When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, though, Pogba looked rejuvenated under his new boss.
In his first nine Premier League fixtures under OGS, Pogba netted eight and assisted five and was looking the best he ever had in a United shirt.
Once again though, Pogba’s form took a nosedive and he would manage just two goals and one assist in his last 12 PL matches this past season.
Juventus willing to trade Dybala & Sandro
Despite his Jekyll and Hyde form, though, Pogba still seems to be attracting the attention of some top clubs.
The main club to be linked with a move for the midfielder have been Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
Now, though, the Daily Express is reporting that Juventus are looking to bring Pogba back to Turin this summer.
In order to fend off Los Blancos, the Express are claiming that Juve will offer both Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro in exchange for Pogba.
Dybala hasn’t had the best season in the Serie A, scoring five and assisting six in 29 league games.
Left-back Alex Sandro, meanwhile, proved crucial to the Bianconeri’s fortunes, racking up 43 appearances across all competitions this season.
