Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has today had a pop at FIFA 18 developers EA Sports due to his dated hair style on the game.
Khedira, a 30-year-old German international, has been with Juve since 2015, when he joined the Italian champions on a free transfer from Real Madrid.
He has since gone on to become a vital component of Max Allegri’s squad in Turin, with his goalscoring exploits from midfield having helped the Bianconeri to consecutive domestic doubles, as well as the Champions league final last season.
Khedira has also racked up a Bundesliga title, La Liga crown, 2 Copa Del Reys, a Champions League and World Cup over the course of his career.
Long known for being a stellar professional who simply gets on with his work, Khedira has today ever-so-slightly broken the mould on his reserved character, by aiming a dig at EA Sports.
Taking to Twitter, the 71-time capped international highlighted his long hairstyle on the recently-released FIFA 18, pointing to the fact that he has not donned such a look for the best part of two years now.
The post is written in a lighthearted manner, suggesting that the German star’s jibe was intended as little more than a joke at EA’s expense:
