Van Dijk’s Liverpool stint
Virgil van Dijk made the switch to Liverpool in January of 2018.
The Merseyside powerhouse are understood to have paid around £75m for the Dutchman’s services.
And whilst some may have baulked at such a high transfer fee for the then-Southampton man at the time, van Dijk has since more than proved he is worth every penny Liverpool paid for him.
Since his move to Liverpool, the imposing central defender has become an integral member of the Reds’ backline, and has helped turn their defence into one of the best in Europe.
The 28-year-old has been recognised for his outstanding form at Liverpool, winning a plethora of awards, including the Premier League Player of the Season last term.
And VVD now looks set to help guide Liverpool to their first league title for 30 years.
The Reds are undefeated in the English top-flight this campaign, and currently boast a 22-point lead atop the PL.

Juventus eyeing van Dijk
Rather unsurprisingly, given his superb form, it looks as though another European giant is interested in landing van Dijk.
According to the Sun, Serie A powerhouse Juventus are plotting a £150m summer swoop for the Liverpool centre-half.
The Sun claims that Juve have identified van Dijk as the man who can help them win the Champions League.
And the report from the Sun also alleges that a source is said to have claimed Juventus think that VVD may be ready for a new challenge at the end of the season, after winning a ‘bagful of trophies’ with Liverpool.
Van Dijk is contracted to the European champions until 2023.
