Sanchez set for Serie A?
Italian giants Juventus have reportedly joined the race to sign Alexis Sanchez this summer, with Manchester United looking to offload the Chilean.
Alexis hasn’t enjoyed a successful spell at Old Trafford so far.
Much was expected of Sanchez when he joined Manchester United from Arsenal back in January 2018.
Alexis joined in a deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan go the other way, though the Armenian has actually outperformed Sanchez by a considerable amount.
This season, Sanchez has scored just two goals and assisted four.
As a result, Alexis has fallen out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, and there looks to be no way back for him.
Now, his Manchester United nightmare could soon end, with two clubs interested in signing him.
Alexis’ Man United nightmare coming to an end
Now, the Independent are reporting that Juventus are also interested.
As reported by Miguel Delaney, ‘Internazionale now face competition from Juventus for the signature of Alexis Sanchez, as it now seems likelier his Manchester United nightmare will end this summer.’

The report continues by revealing ‘concrete meetings’ between intermediaries and both Italian clubs have taken place, with Man United ‘desperately’ looking to offload the forward.
However, Sanchez would have to reduce his wage demands.
Another solution could be that Man United subsidise some of his wages.
Delaney’s report also claims that progress was made in both Inter and Juventus’ meetings with intermediaries.
Whether or not that progress continues we’ll have to wait and see, but an Alexis Sanchez exit looks to be a possibility this summer.
