Juventus have intensified contacts with AFC Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Bianconeri have re-established talks with the player’s agent Mino Raiola who could prove decisive in taking him to Italy.
FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have both been strongly linked with moves for the defender also.
Juventus intensify pursuit of de Ligt
Juventus are very keen on signing de Ligt, given he his potential at the age of just 19-years-old.
The Italian champions have requested more information from Ajax over a potential deal.
Juve are even willing to spend in excess of 50m euros on the defender.
Last summer, the Old Lady first expressed an interest and made moves to sign him.
The Dutch international has already visited the Turin club’s facilities and is open to a move there.
However, with other clubs also expressing an interest, de Ligt is keeping an open mind.

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo claim Barcelona have already begun their bid to sign the defender.
De Ligt has informed Ajax over his desire to sign for the Catalan Giants.
