Juventus move closer to landing Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey to Juve

Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal.

That much we’ve known for some time, and it seems that his destination will be Juventus.

A move abroad is thought to interest the Arsenal player.

Ramsey would follow fellow Welshman Gareth Bale in leaving the UK, this time to Italy and not Spain.

Given he’s available on a free, it’s a huge bargain for a club.

Juve are not only keen on Ramsey, but are also considering a move for James Rodriguez as well.

This is after adding Cristiano Ronaldo to their squad in the summer just gone.

They’re already a powerhouse in Italian football, and are desperate to win the Champions League.

Ozil issues for Emery

Ramsey might be on his way out of the door, but one player Arsenal will find it hard to shift will be Mesut Ozil.

Ozil is fighting for his future at the club.

However, manager Unai Emery may feel he can bench him, but it will come down to the fact Ozil is on a long term contract for big money.

The cards are currently all Ozil’s, who could just choose to see out his contract, keep the money and sit on the bench.

Emery and Ozil will have to find some way to work together, with Ozil being hit and miss this season.

Going from a great performance as skipper to a poor one and being taken off at half time is far from ideal.
