Jurgen Klopp provides Liverpool injury update ahead of Bournemouth

A couple of problems for Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has provided injury updates on all of Dejan Lovren, Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson ahead of the game with Bournemouth.

The Reds are looking to maintain their unbeaten status when they travel down South to face Eddie Howe’s side.

It certainly shouldn’t be easy for Liverpool with Bournemouth impressing immensely so far this season.

They currently sit above Manchester United and are level on points with Everton who sit 6th.

Now, Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on four star men ahead of the trip.

Quadruple injury update

The German boss has revealed that Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane will miss the game, as will Nathanial Clyne.

Though, left-back Andy Robertson will be available for the match after being rested for the game against Burnley in midweek.

“Dejan got a knock last week and got a concussion,” Klopp confirmed, quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

“Clyney is out for two weeks or so. Nothing serious, and Joe obviously.”

“Sadio is now out running around but it doesn’t sound like he will be ready for tomorrow.

“Hopefully he can finish the programme today we did for him, and Gini is nothing. He did his own programme and he is fine.

“Andy Robertson didn’t travel to Burnley but he is fine. He has played most of the games in a very intense position which is why we decided to give him … a whole eight hours off.

“He was not in Burnley but he trained in the morning!”
