Jurgen Klopp praises ‘big talent’ Traore ahead of Liverpool vs Wolves

Liverpool vs Wolves

Liverpool play host to Wolves on Sunday, as they look to maintain their commanding lead atop the Premier League.

The Reds earned a comprehensive 4-0 victory over 2nd placed Leicester earlier this week, to put them 13 points clear of the Foxes.

Liverpool also have a game in hand on both Leicester and 3rd placed Manchester City.

However, despite dominating the English top-flight this term, Liverpool will likely be in for a tough test vs Wolves.

Nuno Santo’s side moved up to 5th in the PL after coming from 2-0 down to beat Manchester City on Friday.

Wolves also began the game week just two points off 4th place.

Klopp praises Adama Traore

One of Wolves’ standout stars this season has been Adama Traore.

Traore had a bit of a slow start to life in England with both Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

Traore possessed bags of pace, power and skills, but his end product was dismal.

When Tony Pulis took the reins at Boro, he began to improve Traore a fair bit.

Traore’s development has continued under the guidance of Nuno Sant,o with the electrifying winger arguably in the best form of his career.

Now, ahead of his side’s clash with Wolves, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been praising Traore:

“At Middlesbrough he was exceptional, but somebody had to give him the right information.

“A big, big talent. You would never have thought he is that young, but he is still very young, and now he has found it (the right manager). It was always clear it would happen one day, and now it has. Good for Wolves!

“He is really dangerous. In a big space Jamie Vardy is difficult to defend, but I would say Traore is even more difficult to defend because his speed is exceptional.” As quoted by Sky Sports News.
