Liverpool 2 – Tottenham 0
Liverpool earned their sixth ever Champions League trophy on Saturday.
They beat Tottenham 2-0 in an all-English final thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi.
The last time Liverpool had won the competition was back in 2005 under Rafael Benitez.
As for Tottenham, their wait for silverware under Mauricio Pochettino goes on.

Klopp finally wins another trophy
While Spurs are still without a trophy under Poch, Jurgen Klopp has finally bagged his first with the Reds.
Liverpool’s Champions League win on Saturday also ended Klopp’s awful run in finals.
Prior to facing Spurs, Klopp had lost six of his seven finals as a manager, only winning the first in 2012 with Borussia Dortmund.
The German had also already lost three finals with Liverpool – the League Cup and Europa League in 2016, and then last year’s UCL final.
So, after finally ending his awful streak, Klopp opened up on what it feels like:
“I feel mostly relief to be honest, for my family actually.
“We always go on holiday the last six times, with a silver medal, it didn’t feel too cool. It’s different this year, it’s for them.
“[My players and I] were pretty much crying on the pitch because it was so emotional, so big. I know how Tottenham feels in the moment better than anyone else in the world.” As quoted by ESPN.
