See what happens
Jurgen Klopp may have had one of the best transfer windows of any manager around Europe this summer, but he’s not done yet.
The Liverpool boss said that another signing could come in – and it may be one of his former players, but that we will have to wait and see before anything happens, and that he won’t be spoiling it for the fans, who are of course on cloud nine after their summer and pre-season results.
Sky Sports report he said: “We will see what happens.
“If any player from my team is available, then in every other situation in my life as a manager I would have bought all of them, to be honest.
“They are all fantastic boys, they are able to play fantastic football.”
Liverpool are of course one of the title favourites – and are the team the majority of people think can challenge Manchester City.
Quite if the club will be able to beat Pep Guardiola’s men to the title however remains to be seen, and it’s certainly set to be a huge fight to see not only who comes out on top in England but also who finishes in the top four and the Champions League places.
There are only four teams from the big five – or six if you count Arsenal – who can manage that, and it’s considered the base objective for all of those clubs, meaning at least two of them will fail.
