Wolves vs Liverpool
Liverpool travel to Wolves on Monday in the final FA Cup 3rd round tie of the season.
This weekend’s FA Cup action has already provided some exciting games including Man City smashing Rotherham 7-0.
It also saw some big upsets as Premier League sides Fulham and Leicester were knocked out by Oldham and Newport County.
Liverpool will head into Monday’s games looking to bounce back from their first league loss of the season.
The Reds are currently top of the Premier League after 21 games but did finally lose vs Manchester City last Thursday.
Wolves, on the other hand, head into Monday’s game having won just one of their last four league games.
However, the newly-promoted side are still 9th in the league and will be no pushover should they play a strong side.
Alberto Moreno & Simon Mignolet to start
Ahead of FA Cup tie, Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on some of the players he plans to start vs Wolves.
Alisson has been in superb form for Liverpool this season and has conceded just 10 goals in 21 league games.
But Klopp has decided to rest the Brazilian and start Simon Mignolet vs Wolves.
It also looks likely that Klopp will rest Andy Robertson and start the out of favour Alberto Moreno at left-back on Monday.
[Mignolet] will play, of course. I can say [Moreno] will play as well, there is no doubt about that.
“ He has to, that’s clear. Yes, we came through the intense period now somehow okay, but of course we have to make changes. How many I don’t know.”
