Salah struggles for goals
Mohamed Salah had an outstanding debut season at Anfield, scoring 44 and assisting 16 in 52 games across all competitions.
After a slightly slow start to this season, Salah looked to be once again in top form as Liverpool challenge for the Premier League.
Salah has scored 17 and assisted eight in the league this campaign.
However, with Liverpool facing a tough end to the season as they look to overtake Man City at the top of the table, Salah has not been in great form.
In fact, the Egyptian has now gone seven games without scoring in all competitions.
Mane’s superb form
Sadio Mane, on the other hand, is in the form of his life.
Mane has now scored 17 league goals this season, the same as Salah. But while Salah’s season has taken a turn for the worse, Mane has scored nine in his last nine league outings.

With one winger on fire and the other struggling to find the net, Jurgen Klopp has explained why Mane is doing better than Salah.
Klopp drew attention to Mane’s work ethic and wants Salah to match it as he looks to rediscover his goalscoring boots:
“He[Mane] is in a really good moment, of course.
“Sadio played pretty much always like this but now he is always in the right spot in the right moment. In football it’s sometimes like this.
“‘The only thing he did when he was not always in the right spot was work and work and work. That’s exactly what Mo has to do, exactly the same: just work, do the right things and it will come again.
“He’s just rather unlucky, where Sadio is lucky in the moment – he is in brilliant shape, that’s true.”As quoted by the Metro.
