Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho in salty dig at Sky Sports

Manchester United 4 – Crystal Palace 0

To no one’s surprise, Manchester United crushed Crystal Palace with ease on Saturday.

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace remain pointless and goalless so far this season and it is difficult to see how they come back from this horrendous start.

Palace’s next game, after the international break, is at home to Premier League champions Chelsea.

Marouane Fellaini at the double

Juan Mata got the ball rolling for Manchester United on three minutes.

Marouane Fellaini made it 2-0 on 35. Four minutes after half-time, Fellaini scored again for Manchester United.

With four minutes to go, Manchester United made it another 4-0 win with Romelu Lukaku converting from an Anthony Martial assist.

The victory confirmed Manchester United’s excellent start to the Premier League season.

With six wins and one draw, Manchester United will now almost certainly challenge for the Premier League title in 2017/2018.

Jose Mourinho takes salty dig at Sky Sports

After the game, the Manchester United boss took a salty dig at Sky Sports.

Mourinho was asked in his post-match presser why Manchester United had made their best start for six years.

The Manchester United manager replied: “Well, according to Sky yesterday, because we are not playing against the good teams.”

Manchester United play Liverpool after the international break, with that surely their hardest game so far this season…

Mourinho’s anger did not end there…

Despite the 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace, Jose Mourinho appeared to be a rather angry man on Saturday.

The Manchester United boss also took aim at the international break.

(Bear in mind, this upcoming international break with World Cup qualification on the line could be one of the best “breaks” in recent times…)

Mourinho said: “I don’t welcome the break, it’s bad… We had the first break and two days after the players came back we had to play another game. It’s not a good situation for us but moaning doesn’t help. We have to wait for them and hope there are not many problems.”
