Jose Mourinho reveals his long term Man United plan

Jose Mourinho & Man United

Last weekend a story did the rounds regarding Jose Mourinho’s living situation in Manchester.

The Mirror revealed that the Special One has decided to continue living in a Lowry Hotel next season, rather than moving into a house near Old Trafford.

It was also revealed that Mourinho uses the service Deliveroo a lot in order to avoid being hounded in the city centre.

Many read these Mourinho updates a signal the Portuguese boss may not be ready to commit his long term future to the Red Devils.

But in an interview with ESPN, Mourinho has explained his vision for the club.

Going nowhere

Jose Mourinho has told ESPN that he wants to stay at the Theatre of Dreams for the next 15 years.

Were that to happen, Mourinho would following in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson, although the Scottish legend was in the Man United hot seat for 27 long years. Mourinho told ESPN:

I am ready for the next 15, I would say. Here? Yes, why not?

I have to admit that it is very difficult because of the pressure around our jobs, everybody putting pressure on managers and things that people say – that we have to win, but in reality only one can win and every year it is getting more difficult.
