Jose Mourinho reveals double Man United injury boost

Injury returns

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has today revealed a big injury boost regarding two of their most important players.

Those players come in the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly who have struggled with injury this season.

The former made his long-awaited return to football in a game against Bristol City in which they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup.

Though, following that game it was revealed that the player was actually not fully ready and had been dealt a setback.

With Romelu Lukaku unable to achieve consistency, having Zlatan as another option could really help the side.

Bailly, on the other hand, would improve Man United tenfold.

The Red Devils have struggled at the back and both Phil Jones and Chris Smalling had games to forget against Tottenham.

That means that United fans will be happy to find out he and Zlatan are close to a return.

“They are working on the pitch but not yet with us as a group so they are not very close to a return,” said Mourinho.

“I want to believe that by Champions League time, around the end of the month, they will be back.”

Mourinho was also asked about Zlatan’s future amid a potential move to LA Galaxy.

Though, the Man United boss hasn’t heard anything from the player.

“He never mentioned absolutely anything to me, not an opinion, comment nothing at all, so I presume nothing is true in the news because I would probably be first to know from him, so I presume nothing.”

Revealed: Why Jose Mourinho now has a huge tactical headache
