Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has this afternoon confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele is in contention to make a return to action in the club’s upcoming meeting with Norwich City.
Spurs host Norwich
The Lilywhites are set to welcome bottom of the table Norwich to north London tomorrow night, for a Premier League clash.
Hosts Tottenham will head into proceedings in search of a bounce-back performance, on the back of a disappointing spell of form of late.
The capital giants have managed just a solitary win from their last 6 outings across all competitions.
The latest of these came on Saturday, at relegation-battling Watford.
A feisty affair at Vicarage Road, during which both sides went close over the course of the 90 minutes, eventually saw Spurs forced to settle for a point, in a 0-0 draw.
Key to Tottenham’s struggles of late have been the absences of a number of the club’s key performers.
Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko were both recently ruled out long-term, with first-choice shot-stopper Hugo Lloris having been sidelined since the beginning of October.
Ahead of the club’s meeting with Norwich, though, there has finally been some positive news for Spurs on the personnel front.
In a post across the Lilywhites’ social media platforms a short time ago, it was confirmed that summer signing Tanguy Ndombele, who has missed Tottenham’s last 4 outings across all competitions, has made a return to first-team training:

Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, has since provided a further update on Ndombele, confirming that the French midfielder is set to play some part in proceedings tomorrow night:
#thfc Mourinho suggested Ndombele could start tomorrow night. “He’s ready, he’s not ready for 90 minutes but he will be involved. I’m not telling you to start or come later, but no injury. Just a question of condition & mentality to be ready, but he’s back tomorrow.”
