Jose Mourinho provides Man United injury update before Fulham

Manchester United’s must-win game vs Fulham

Manchester United face Fulham on Saturday as they look to put an end to their awful run of form.

After 15 games Man United are currently sat 8th in the Premier League.

They are eight points off a Champions League place and a whopping 18 points off league leaders, Manchester City.

United also have the worst defence of any side in the top 15, letting in 25 goals in 15 Premier League games this season.

Jose Mourinho’s side are also without a win in their last four league matches, the latest of which saw them draw 2-2 with Arsenal.

So, now they are at home to bottom of the table Fulham, nothing but a win will be good enough.

Fulham have the worst defence in the league, conceding a staggering 36 goals in 15 games.

Granted Fulham have improved a bit under Claudio Ranieri. But they have still not kept a clean sheet in his three matches in charge.

Man United injury update

Ahead of the clash with Fulham, Man United are dealing with some serious injury concerns.

Anthony Martial was taken off injured vs Arsenal and the Frenchman is still being assessed ahead of the Fulham game.

United’s centre-back problems continue to persist as Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones are also dealing with knocks ahead of Saturday.

United do have one bit of good news heading into Fulham though as Ashley Young is back from serving a one-match ban.
