Man United’s poor start
The 2018/19 campaign has, so far, been one largely filled with disappointment for Manchester United.
Heading into the weekend’s games Man United are in a dismal 8th place in the league.
United are also eight points off 4th place and 18 points off league leaders, Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho’s side also have the worst defence of the current top 15 sides in the Premier League, letting in 25 goals in 15 games as they sit with a goal difference of -1.
United have also failed to pick up a win in their last four league games, drawing two of those with Southampton and Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils were also knocked out of the League Cup earlier in the season by Championship side, Derby County.
United’s January window plans
So, with the January window coming up, it would be no surprise if some of United’s players wanted a fresh start this winter.
According to The Sun, one of those stars is Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian is having a poor season at Old Trafford and did not even start their last game vs Arsenal.

The Sun also claims that Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez are growing frustrated with Mourinho.
However, when asked if any United players had said they want to leave in the upcoming January window, Mourinho simply replied:
“No. Nobody asked me. Nobody at all.”
Man United’s next game sees them take on bottom of the table Fulham at 3 pm on Saturday.
A win for United could move them up to 6th place while a win for Fulham could move them out of the relegation zone.
