Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is facing a charge from the FA in relation to comments made about referee Anthony Taylor.
Taylor was appointed by the FA as the referee for the Red Devils’ Premier League match against Liverpool on Monday night.
There was some concern over his selection due to the fact that Taylor lives in Manchester.
Speaking before the game, Mourinho suggested that someone in the FA was deliberately trying to set Taylor up for failure by selecting him for the match.

Incidentally, the game was not the fiery affair many expected and Taylor didn’t have much to do.
The two sides played out a tactical stalemate which finished 0-0.
Taylor handed out 4 yellow cards in the match – all to Man United players – but there was little to no controversy about any of his decisions.
