Jose Mourinho demands Anthony Martial replacement before season starts – Mail

Anthony Martial celebrates Man United winner at Burnley

Not happy

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is no longer happy with Anthony Martial being at the club – and wants to find a replacement for him before the transfer window closes.

Given that’s set to happen in less than 24 hours, it’s a massive ask, and one that seems impossible.

Martial and Mourinho have clashed this summer once again, with the manager unhappy about the player’s lack of effort and going AWOL following the birth of his child, and Martial generally unhappy under Mourinho.

Martial’s agent did make it clear they were looking for a move in the summer, but that’s not happened, and now the Daily Mail think Mourinho wants Martial out and another right winger brought in.

The publication goes on to suggest Ousmane Dembele could be a replacement for the winger – yet the odds point to him staying at Barcelona so late in the transfer window.

After seeing Barcelona sign Malcom, many people wondered if Dembele had a future at the Camp Nou, yet it seems he will stay for another half a season at least, and then if his playing time is still limited, a loan move or even a sale could be the case.

Arsenal are thought to be keen on the player, who Unai Emery is a huge fan of, and have also been linked with a move for Dembele this window.
