Jose Mourinho appears to be furious after Man United defeat

Mourinho is not a happy man

Jose Mourinho was far from happy after seeing his Man United side drop three points this afternoon.

Following Man City’s demolition of Huddersfield, where they beat the club 6-1, United needed to make a statement, and they certainly did that.

Sadly for Mourinho, it was far from the one he wanted.

His side ended up losing 3-2 and were outplayed by Brighton, with troublesome performances all over the field.

The defence was poor, but the other players further up the field also failed to deliver.

There are also questions about goalkeeper David De Gea, and Mourinho noted in his interview how many mistakes his men made.

Paul Pogba’s response

Pogba himself made it clear he didn’t think the side were good enough, saying that he was at fault and lost too many balls.

He also posted on social media, expressing his unhappiness at the result, and noting United need to keep on trying.

It looks like getting into the top four is going to be an uphill battle for the club this season, with their rivals all winning games this weekend.
