Arsenal cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup at Blackpool.

Unai Emery made wholesale changes to the Gunners XI for the cup tie.

Star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was left out the squad altogether, while Alexandre Lacazette was picked on the subs bench.

The likes of Petr Cech, Carl Jenkinson, Mohamed Elneny and Ainsley Maitland-Niles all started. While Emery also gave run-outs to youngsters Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock.

Willock, 19, stole the headlines with a brace.

Willock broke the deadlock in the first half with a header.

The teenager was quick to react to a loose ball in the box after an Aaron Ramsey free-kick hit the Blackpool bar.

Willock stabbed home his second in the 37th minute.

After Blackpool failed to clear a cross from the right from Jenkinson, Willock had the simple job of putting the ball over the line.

Alex Iwobi scored a third for Arsenal in the 81st minute.

The youngster understands that he’ll have limited first team opportunities at Arsenal this season.

If Arsenal are going to win a trophy this season, the FA Cup is the only realistic target.

So how seriously will Unai Emery take this competition?

After Blackpool, Emery revealed that he intends to continue to rotate his side for the FA Cup.
