World Champions Germany began their quest for the European Championships trophy on Sunday night with a 2-0 win over Ukraine.
Ukraine gave a good showing throughout the match, however the never found cutting edge to a goal.
At the other end, Jogi Low didn’t start with Mario Gomez, instead choosing Mario Gotze in attack, with Thomas Muller in support.
However the Germans scored in a simple fashion, as Mustafi headed home a Toni Kroos free-kick in the first half.
Bastian Schweinsteiger wrapped up the win in injury time.

There was one occasion when Ukraine got past Manuel Neuer.
In the first half, the Ukrainians came within millimeters of finding the target, however Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng scooped the ball off the line for a match winning save.
