Jamie Vardy has been linked with a move away from Leicester City and now the man himself has revealed his thoughts on the rumours.
The player is still considered to be towards the top of all the Premier League strikers but that comes with its drawbacks.
Vardy has been linked with moves to several clubs in recent months including Arsenal and Everton.
Though, Leicester City will be hoping to do all they can to keep hold of the player who is the spearhead of their attack.
The Englishman is still riding high from Leicester City’s title-winning season in which he broke several records.
The player broke Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record of most consecutive games with a goal in all of 11 games.
The news around him was huge and the club were unable to fight off advances from several clubs.
Thankfully for them in this case, the player has moved to quash any rumours of him leaving the King Power.
‘Who have I been linked with today? Chelsea, they’ve been linked with everybody, haven’t they?’ he explained.
‘You just have to take things like this with a pinch of salt, it’s just rumours. Usually, it all gets started by someone throwing a few quid on it at the bookies.
‘I’m a Leicester player and I’m just concentrating on Leicester until the club tell me otherwise and we will be looking to progress to the next round of the cup.’
