Milner’s crazy claim on what Liverpool must do after Arsenal collapse

Big claim

Liverpool midfielder has made a huge claim about how the side needs to change after their collapse against Arsenal on Friday.

The Reds took part in the most incredible game of the Premier League season so far in the Friday night football spectacle.

The side looked as though they would ease to victory in the first half of the game, going 1-0 up through Philippe Coutinho.

Arsenal hardly posed a threat in the first half and even in the second half they fell behind to a Mohamed Salah goal.

Though, what happened after that was simply astonishing.

Arsenal’s comeback showcases Liverpool flaws

Arsenal got one back through Alexis Sanchez to make it 2-1 before Granit Xhaka made it 2-2 after a horrendous error from Simon Mignolet.

The comeback was then complete when Mesut Ozil chipped in Arsenal’s third goal and gave the Gunners the lead.

It was only a Roberto Firmino goal that allowed Liverpool to at least take a point back to Liverpool with them for Christmas.

Now, James Milner has claimed that the team need to become more ‘boring’ if they are to improve their game and their results.

The Reds are known for their attack but the collapse this evening emphasised just how fragile the side can be under pressure and Milner wasn’t happy.

“All the goals were our fault and its something we’ll have to learn from because it’s becoming a theme,” he explained.

“We play some good football going forward we just need to switch that off for 5-10 minutes and assess the situations when its time to keep the ball a bit more rather than trying to break every time and against good teams at this level you get punished.”

“We’ve got to become more boring”

No one can believe what happened during Arsenal v Liverpool

Christmas certainly came early for football fans this evening.

We were blessed with the gift of a Christmas cracker to kick off the celebrations.
