‘He was not appreciated enough with England’
Speaking on Sky Sports Sunday Supplement, Charlie Wyett has been heaping praise on Liverpool midfielder James Milner.
“James Milner here, at the start of the season, looking at that team and he has been their best player.
“I think that shows you, what a fantastic, I think he is a really undervalued player, always has been.
“He was not appreciated enough with England.
“Whoever he has played for, every single manager has always singled him out and even now at his age he is proving to be such an influence on the pitch.
“But off the pitch as well, absolutely, he looks after himself and I think he deserves a lot of credit, I think he is getting credit from Jurgen Klopp, of course.”

James Milner excels for Liverpool vs PSG
With Liverpool signing both Naby Keita and Fabinho this summer, you may have assumed that 32-year-old James Milner would find himself pushed out of Liverpool’s starting 11.
However, this has not been the case.
Instead, Milner has started in every Premier League game this season for Liverpool.
Milner also took the captains armband vs West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Tottenham.
Despite being a centre mid, Milner has also earned an assist vs West Ham, a goal vs Crystal Palace and an assist vs Leicester City this season for Liverpool.
Furthermore, when Liverpool took on PSG on Tuesday evening, Milner was the best player on the pitch.
The Englishman did not stop running for 90 minutes, he made countless good tackles and helped keep Neymar and Mbappe largely quiet.
Milner would also bag himself a goal as Liverpool came away 3-2 winners.
