Maddison has sat out Leicester’s last two matches with an ankle injury, after scoring a late winner against Tottenham.

The fitness of James Maddison will be checked by England after the Leicester City midfielder missed the 5-1 win over Newcastle United last weekend with an ankle issue. He is hoping to feature against Liverpool on Saturday.

Man United linked to James Maddison

Sticking with the Leicester midfielder, rumours have linked Man United with a possible future move to sign Maddison.

A few days ago, the Evening Standard reported:

United scouts have also been tasked with monitoring Leicester’s James Maddison ahead of a potential move at the end of the season.

22-year-old Maddison is under contract at Leicester until 2023.

Todd Cantwell injury rumour spreads before Norwich vs Aston Villa

Will Todd Cantwell be fit for Norwich’s Premier League match against Aston Villa on Saturday?

An unconfirmed rumour is spreading on social media that Cantwell was injured in Norwich training on Wednesday.

The rumour is that Cantwell “tweaked his hamstring in training”.

If true – which is currently unknown – Cantwell could be sidelined for several weeks.
