West Ham vs Everton

West Ham’s first game back after the international break sees them take on Marco Silva’s Everton side.

The Hammers head into the game 9th in the league having won three of their last five league games.

The latest of which saw them come from 3-1 down to clinch all three points vs Huddersfield.

West Ham could move up to 7th place with a win over Everton but both Wolves and Watford have a game in hand on Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

As for Everton, they sit 11th in the league, two points behind West Ham.

Wilshere injury update

Prior to the Everton clash, Jack Wilshere has provided an injury update on himself.

Wilshere has missed much of the 2018/19 season due to an ankle problem.

The midfielder has made just five appearances for the Hammers.

However, Wilshere is hopeful of returning soon and is back in full training:

“I am back in full training – it has been a long time, frustrating but it was something I had to do.

“I am trying to get fit [but] it is not a great time to come back because you maybe play a couple of games and then the season finishes.”
