Man United’s Eric Bailly & Ivory Coast
It’s not been the easiest of international breaks for Man United fans.
The Red Devils have seen a series of players withdraw from international duty due to injury problems.
Anthony Martial pulled out of the French squad, while Nemanja Matic left the Serbs.
Jesse Lingard, meanwhile, asked to be excused from England duty. While Luke Shaw left the England squad with a knock.
On Saturday night Man United fans were sweating over the health of Eric Bailly.
Bailly was subbed out of the Ivory Coast’s win over Rwanda following a head collision.
There were fears Bailly may have swallowed his tongue.

Eric Bailly’s injury update
Following the Rwanda match, the Ivory Coast posted an update on Bailly’s condition.
The Man United star needed to have his head bandaged up after his clash of heads.
Yet the Elephants reported good news: Bailly’s condition was labelled “nothing serious”.
The expectation is that Bailly will return to Old Trafford without any complications.
Eric Bailly scored vs Rwanda
Prior to his head injury, the Man United defender showed off his heading prowess.
Ivory Coast beat Rwanda 3-0 in the CAF 2019 qualifier.
Bailly scored the second goal of the game with a towering header from a corner.
For some bizarre reason, the Man United defender was wearing the number 9 shirt.
