Lukaku & Man United
Romelu Lukaku has spent the past two seasons honing his craft with Manchester United.
Prior to signing for United, Lukaku was one of the most deadly strikers in the English top-flight, with Everton.
However, since his move to Old Trafford, especially this past season, Lukaku has struggled somewhat.
In 45 games across all competitions during 2018/19, Lukaku would score just 15 goals.
After two tough years in Manchester, Lukaku could well be on his way out of United.
Inter’s £41m deal
Manchester United are currently on their pre-season tour of Australia.
The Red Devils have played two pre-season games so far, versus Perth Glory and Leeds United, in which they racked up respective 2-0 and 4-0 wins.
However, despite travelling with the squad, Lukaku didn’t feature in either game.
Then, after the Leeds game, when asked if Lukaku would be happy to remain at United this summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provided a rather vague response:

According to Sky Sports News, Lukaku’s absence from United’s friendlies so far have come due to his impending departure from the club.
And Sky have now, on Thursday, reported that Inter Milan will offer Lukaku a five-year contract worth £41 million, should United agree to sell him.
As per the report from Sky, Inter’s last proposal for Lukaku was worth a guaranteed £63m, but it was to be paid over several years. That bid is said to have been short of United’s expectations.
