Inter Milan chief Luciano Spalletti has revealed that he thinks that Ivan Perisic will not be moving to Manchester United this summer window.
The chief has explained that they were initially approached at the beginning of the window but there had been no follow-up interest.
That means, according to Spalletti, that the topic is over and that Manchester United will likely not get their man this summer.
There had also been suggestions of Anthony Martial being used as part of a deal with Inter wanting the Frenchman on loan and cash.
Now, it looks as though Spalletti will refuse any offer from Jose Mourinho’s side over a deal to take the Croatian attacker to Old Trafford.
“There was something you already know about at the beginning of the window [but] there was no follow-up and so, for me, the topic is over,” he explained.
“I will strongly oppose the sale of Perisic if an offer comes.”
Inter have blocked Ivan Perisic’s move to United & he will stay in Milan for atleast another year. [cm]
