Harry Kane v Alvaro Morata

Insane stat: Tottenham’s Harry Kane v Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata

EPL top scorer

Who will be the best striker in the Premier League in 2017-18?

That’s a hard question to answer right now, as all the big clubs in England have huge names leading their attacks.

Man United have signed Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea are signing Alvaro Morata, Arsenal broke their transfer record on Alexandre Lacazette, Man City already have Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, while Liverpool now have Dom Solanke in support of Roberto Firmino.

Spurs, meanwhile, remain the only EPL club yet to make a summer signing, however Tottenham striker Harry Kane was, of course, last season’s top goalscorer in the league.

Kane v Morata

Following the Morata-Chelsea deal, one Spurs fan has sought to clarify just how inferior Morata’s recent scoring record when compared to Kane.

It’s been revealed that Harry Kane has scored more league goals since February 2016 (42), than Alvaro Morata has scored in his career (40).

Fans should get to see how Kane compares to Morata early on in the season, as Chelsea are scheduled to be Tottenham’s first opponents at Wembley in round two of the 2017-18 Premier League season.
