Sokratis injury update
Since making the switch to Arsenal over the summer, Sokratis has become a key member of Arsenal’s squad.
Sokratis has played 24 games across all competitions for the Gunners, in which he has scored one and assisted two.
The 30-year-old would also feature in Arsenal’s last game vs Man United in the FA Cup.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, Sokratis would suffer an ankle injury in said game.
Arsenal’s medical team have since confirmed that Sokratis will not return to full training until the end of February.

Arsenal vs Cardiff
With Arsenal stating Sokratis will be out till the end of February he will miss several big games.
The centre-back will miss games vs Cardiff, Manchester City, Huddersfield, both legs of the Europe League tie with BATE and the Southampton game.
Laurent Koscielny also suffered an injury vs Man United with the Frenchman’s jaw being assessed on a day to day basis.
The Gunners next game sees them take on 19th place Cardiff City.
Sokratis will definitely miss the game while Koscienly does have a small chance of featuring.
Arsenal head into the game 5th in the table and just three points off a Champions League spot.
However, 6th place Man United are only behind Unai Emery’s side due to goal difference.
As for Cardiff, they head into the game 18th in the Premier League after losing 3-0 vs Newcastle in their last league match.
But the Welsh side could move out of the relegation zone with a win on Tuesday.
